Service atrocious. It's as if the staff don't want to serve customers or create a welcoming atmosphere. They were almost avoidant and no one individual appeared to be in charge or taking responsibility. We waited 25 minutes before being offered menus or asked for drinks, all while sitting underneath an enormous TV that all of the staff were watching the football on instead of working. After waving someone over to take our order we then waited 50 minutes for our pizza to arrive. These were perfectly good pizzas but in the atmosphere and with the non-existent service it was not enjoyable. The food is really nice and the location is great. Unfortunately I have to give low score for service because of the way the menu is written. I have ordered il manzo di pozza for my son, allergic to milk and eggs; the menu doesn't mention milk as allergen and I also asked when ordering. The plate came with shaved parmesan, I was said it's 36 months old and it's ok for allergic people (incorrect). It is clearly a spot for young locals to hang out, open until 2 am, but maybe it’s the Brit in me, as although we invented modern culture we did kind of run out when it came to modern cuisine, but the pizza there far surpasses what you expect when you walk through the door. We ordered takeaways (from the pace in person -there is no Uber folks c’m on now) a couple of nights in a row and whilst we waited had cocktails at the bar.
