I have eaten here many times and it was always good. But tonight something was completely off. We arrived at 19.35 and it was very busy with take-away pizza. We have waited a long time before we could order. A lot of things on the menu were ‘sold out’. So we did not have much to choose from but we managed to order something. Then finally around 21 some food arrived: they gave us the french fries we had ordered as side dish as if it was a starter. We were hungry and ate them anyway. Then half an hour later finally our food arrived. Three of us ordered ‘pollo in bianco in tegame’, but what we saw on our plate looked like a pile of ribs and bones. It had almost no meat on it and dripped with oil. One of us had a hamburger. It was terribly overcooked. But the worst thing was they lied. One of us had ordered the pepata in umido. We have asked 3 times if it was beef or pork; for religious reasons we don’t eat pork. They assured us 3 times that it was ‘vitello’. We tasted and it was definitely pork. When I talked to the lady in charge, whom I have known for years, she hardly reacted and just called the cook. We speak Italian fluently and we explained our complaints. This man started a discussion with us and did not want to admit to anything; yes there was a little pork in it so what. And in his opinion the chicken was supposed to be like that. To make a long story short, he was very, very rude and I am feeling very disappointed because of how they handled this. Only the young guy who served us was kind. It was the 3rd time we ate here during our 2 weeks’ stay in Tuscany and regretfully the very...
Read moreWe were refused service in a very unpolite way. Very unprofesional. Due the fact that they are the only one pizzeria open in the late evening they do not care about the customer. We order a to-go pizza and they refuse the order because they were fully booked, we mentioned very clear that we do mot need a table and we were willing to wait. They did not...
