First and foremost I must say 'Grazie' to Ofelia because without her our magical wedding would not have been possible. Kind, gracious and empathetic but also efficient and organized - absolutely a joy to work with (even with an ocean in between). GRAZIE OFELIA!||We live in Boston and fell in love with Santarcangelo; we ended up deciding to have our wedding reception at la Tenuta Saiano. ||ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL!!! I can not imagine a better night than the one we had!||The food was a journey in what Romagna is all about that kept surprising us at every bite. The vineyard lay out and the overall set up was elegant and absolutely impeccable (Gloria from Mareventi gets the credit here). Even the service was exquisite! ||Cake, desserts and treats followed by dancing on the rooftop ...MAGICAL!||We spent our first wedding night there too. Yes the rooms are not American-size rooms but we were not in America. They are quaint and comfortable, quiet and with a view that the oversized Hyatt rooms will never give you. We had another amazing stay here. They have an unbelievable view of San Marino. They have their own farm that produces everything from meat to honey and wine. They have made numerous improvements including renovating their outdoor dining area and gardens. The expensive cars that come up there to dine at night speak to the quality and elegance. The staff are as warm and helpful as you will find. They had renovated the bathroom (which was already nice). Next, they need to upgrade the mattresses and maybe level the beds to not move so much. The cleaning staff does an impeccable job. The one thing they need to improve is the construction happening outside the only window in the room. If you open the curtains, you are face to face with construction netting and a storage area that the staff goes in and out of (need more privacy in this room). Breakfast is phenomenal. An array of fresh figs, their own honey and cheeses, yogurts and granola, eggs, pastries.. really anything you could possibly want and displayed in elegance overlooking their gorgeous courtyard. I cannot understand the other reviews. What we experienced was absolutely excellent. Lorella was an outstanding hostess. We had two gorgeous rooms upstairs. One had sweet bunkbeds for our children that were already made up for them. It was quiet, peaceful, clean, and relaxing. The view of San Marino is gorgeous. The restaurant is top of the line. They purvey their local (and often from their own property) ingredients. They're currently expanding their kitchen to accommodate their local salumi and ingredient storage. The restaurant is packed with nice clientele. They have 3 large parking lots to accommodate the guests. Farm to table at the highest level. Breakfast is elegantly prepared.
