The type of place for which 5 stars is not enough! I came here obviously because of the google recommendations- for fresh authentic sea food - and it’s definitely worth the road and the time and the price and everything! It’s a self service with a great food choice and very decent wine menu, but the sea-food is out of this world! Fresh, cooked to perfection, tasty, flavorful! I vev been before to Cesenatico and i had dinner and lunch at some very famous and fancy restaurants on the canal side, and i can compare and say - here the food is way much better! (And not to mention how reasonably priced it is) The staff who takes the orders , serves you or even clean the tables after are such lovely people, very kind and polite and friendly! Definitely in my list to come back when i am visiting Italy! Grazie team!

Wow. The queue outside tells you how popular and well-regarded this place is. Place your order at the counter, take a number, and collect your food when called. We timed it well. When we arrived at c. 19.00, there were only about 10 people ahead of us in the queue (c. 5 min wait). Our food was then ready about 5 min after ordering. By the time we left, the queue was closer to 50-100 people (see pic)! The food was absolutely incredible, and the setting is very memorable with water on 3 sides. Would definitely recommend, especially if you can arrive early and beat the crowds!

Oggi mentre uscivo ben sazio e soddisfatto dall'ennesimo pranzo in questo ristorante, passando a fianco ad un tavolo colgo di sfuggita un commento sincero e spontaneo, ancora impastato dal boccone tra o denti "Che buono!". È da un paio di anni che frequento questo posto occasionalmente durante tutta la stagione estiva, dai primi agli ultimi caldi estivi e, che dire, non si può chiedere di meglio. Si sta li, sulla terrazza tra il mare e il molo, osservando la spiaggia e le barche che escono ed entrano dal porto, gustando piatti appetitosi, godendo del clima caldo e placido che distende i nervi e lo spirito. Il ristorante in modalità self service funziona benissimo; la fila alla cassa scorre con ritmo costante e una volta ordinato e preso posto non si attende molto tempo che i piatti sono pronti. Ho provato molti dei piatti in menù e non sono mai rimasto deluso. Le porzioni dei primi sono abbondanti e sufficienti a saziare il cliente medio, mentre i più affamati potranno ritenersi soddisfatti condividendo un altro piatto con i propri commensali. I prezzi li ritengo adeguati sia per le quantità che la qualità del prodotto offerto. Faccio i miei sinceri complimenti al Gambero Rosso e, sperando che i proprietari garantiscano ai propri dipendenti una paga adeguata alla fatica che impiegano nel loro onesto lavoro, auguro eterno successo a questo ristorante, che possa essere un riferimento costante per chi frequenta Cesenatico. CHE BUONO!

The rudest restaurant I've ever been in. I was happily sat there drinking my beer for 20 mins until the bar man noticed I had my bike beside my table (I had no lock with a very expensive bike and it wasn't in anyone's way) and he came out shouting at me like I was a dog OUT OUT OUT!!!! there was literally 3 people in there 🤣 . The restaurant/ bar is in very nice place by the port and I would of happily sat there and had some more beers and food if it wasn't for the staff who were as ignorant as sin. If you want to know what it feels like to be treated like a dog , go for a beer here. It's a shame I can only give 1 star....

Il Gambero Rosso is undoubtedly a restaurant with a great format: you order at the counter, get a ticket, find a seat, and wait for your number to be called to collect your order. Additionally, the location is truly charming, with a large terrace overlooking the sea. The staff are very quick and attentive. However, I expected more when it came to the seafood. I found the "contrabbando" tagliolini to be quite disappointing, and the mixed fried seafood was just okay. I must admit that the price is very reasonable. It's a shame the quality isn’t impressive because the venue has all the makings of a great place to...
