Pizzeria Ristorante Sombreros — Restaurant in Verbania

Sabato 3 agosto 2024 sono andato a mangiare con un collega alla Pizzeria Ristorante Sombreros. Avevamo prenotato in anticipo un tavolo direttamente con la padrona di casa. La padrona di casa mi è sembrata rigida e severa. Non le piace che noi ospiti non prenotiamo il tavolo in anticipo. Forse questo succede solo con i turisti, non lo so. È un po' comprensibile quando molti ospiti visitano il Sombrero. Non riuscivo a capire come fosse nato il nome Sombrero. Quando ho visto il ristorante con questo nome dall'esterno, ho pensato a un ristorante spagnolo o messicano. Il nome Pizzeria lo rende superfluo.

Ci è stato assegnato un tavolo per due sulla terrazza al centro, che era perfetto per noi.

Siamo stati serviti da due giovani signore molto gentili che hanno preso e servito le nostre ordinazioni. Sospetto che una delle cameriere possa essere la figlia della padrona di casa, o entrambe. Le due signore sono state molto cordiali, efficienti e ci hanno dato buoni consigli. Avevano sempre il sorriso sulle labbra, il che le rendeva molto simpatiche. Abbiamo bevuto un buon vino bianco della regione con l'aperitivo e una bottiglia di vino rosso con il piatto principale. Abbiamo preso un'insalata caprese e spaghetti vongole come antipasto. Come piatto principale abbiamo preso una pizza Verdura e io ho ordinato pesce con verdure. Il cibo era eccellente! L'antipasto e il piatto principale sono sempre stati serviti insieme, in modo che io e il mio collega potessimo mangiare insieme. L'arredamento è tipicamente italiano. Mi piace sempre. Il ristorante sembra un po' freddo e minimalista all'interno. Dovrò visitarlo in autunno/inverno, quando gli ospiti saranno seduti all'interno del ristorante, allora l'effetto sarà sicuramente diverso.

La mia conclusione: visiterò di nuovo il ristorante e lo consiglierò ad altri. Spero che la padrona di casa si sciolga un po' e che veda il suo sorriso. Alla prossima volta, non vedo l'ora.

Am Samstag, dem 3. August 2024, ging ich mit einem Kollegen in der Pizzeria Ristorante Sombreros essen. Wir hatten im Voraus direkt bei der Wirtin einen Tisch reserviert. Die Wirtin wirkte auf mich starr und streng. Sie mag es nicht, wenn wir Gäste nicht im Voraus einen Tisch reservieren. Vielleicht passiert das nur bei Touristen, ich weiß es nicht. Es ist ein bisschen verständlich, wenn viele Gäste das Sombrero besuchen. Ich konnte nicht verstehen, wie der Name Sombrero zustande kam. Als ich das Restaurant mit diesem Namen von außen sah, dachte ich an ein spanisches oder mexikanisches Restaurant. Der Name Pizzeria macht es überflüssig.

Wir bekamen einen Tisch für zwei Personen auf der Terrasse in der Mitte zugewiesen, was perfekt war für uns.

Wir wurden von zwei sehr netten jungen Damen bedient, die unsere Bestellungen aufnahmen und servierten. Ich vermute, eine der Kellnerinnen könnte die Tochter der Wirtin sein, oder beide. Die beiden Damen waren sehr freundlich, effizient und gaben uns gute Ratschläge. Sie hatten immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht, was sie sehr sympathisch machte. Zum Aperitif gab es einen guten Weißwein aus der Region und zum Hauptgang eine Flasche Rotwein. Als Vorspeise hatten wir einen Caprese-Salat und Spaghetti Vongole. Zum Hauptgang gab es eine Pizza Verdura und ich hatte Fisch mit Gemüse bestellt. Das Essen war vorzüglich!!! Die Vorspeise und der Hauptgang wurden immer zusammen serviert, so dass mein Kollege und ich gemeinsam essen konnten. Die Einrichtung ist typisch italienisch. Das gefällt mir immer. Das Restaurant wirkt innen ein wenig kalt und minimalistisch. Ich werde es im Herbst/Winter besuchen müssen, wenn die Gäste im Inneren des Restaurants sitzen, dann wird die Wirkung definitiv anders sein. Mein Fazit: Ich werde das Restaurant wieder besuchen und weiter empfehlen. Ich hoffe, dass die Gastgeberin ein bisschen lockerer wird und ihr Lächeln sieht. Bis zum nächsten Mal, ich freue mich...

We were very pleased after we found this little Italian restaurant, We had diner here 4 times during the week we stayed in Verbania. Not only is the personel very friendly, the food is very good as well. The pizza's are great, the tagliata we had was very good and tasteful and the tiramisu was fresh and lovely. My wife ordered a salad besides a mixed fried fish plate for starters, and the waitress told us she could replace the fries that came with the fish with the salad we ordered. Otherwise it might be a little too much. We followed her advice and were glad we did, because she was right. At the end they didn't charge the salad, because it was a replacement for the fries. Besides this, the price is very customer friendly. So; we very much recommend...
