Ristorante Apollonia — Restaurant in Verona

As someone who has traveled extensively in Greece, I was excited to try this Greek restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations in terms of authenticity. The food itself is decent, but the menu is quite limited and lacks the variety typical of Greek tavernas. One major disappointment was the absence of traditional Greek spirits such as ouzo or tsipouro on the drinks menu. The Greek salad was a particular letdown – it had very little cucumber and onion, and there was no bell pepper at all. The feta cheese used was of rather poor quality, which really took away from the dish. Another notable difference from the Greek dining experience is the way the food is served. In Greece, dishes are usually placed in the center of the table to share, encouraging a communal atmosphere. 17th September 2025 My daughter in law, an Italian made the reservation by phone. She was told that the restaurant had a taste-menu, BUT that dishes from the menu book could be ordered as well. Upon arrival we could not ordered ourselves, but only eat what the restaurant had chosen as a menu.

We were there with a group and were guests. If I were the hostess, I would have immediately left to another restaurant.

Moreover, they claim to be an authentic Greek restaurant, but the dishes we were offered and supposed to eat, tasted more like fast-food! And only baklava offeren as a dessert, no other choice!

Many guests who dat outside the terrace, were given the regular menu book to choose from!

When I asked one of the employees behind the bar why baklava is served while it is a Turkish dessert, he replied that they, in Albania also eat baklava. A genuine Greek restaurant??

Buono, ma a casa tua! E si, location da dimenticare In pratica è il bar di una stazione di servizio carburanti, con qualche tavolo. Molto difficile da individuare Non saprei durante la giornata come sia la clientela, certo nella serata, non è propriamente adeguata. Lato cucina sorprende la qualità, tipica casalinga, la signora che cucina lo fa con dedizione, ho avuto la sensazione che lo facesse come se fosse a casa sua, se cucinasse per i suoi familiari. Gusti molto buoni, materie prime genuine e fresche, pietanze preparate con amore. Anche la classica feta ha un gusto diverso dalla solita che si trova in giro. Durante la mia permanenza per la cena, ho notato che lavorano molto con il take away e consegna a domicilio, a mio avviso la scelta migliore Prezzi popolari per così dire Rapporto prezzo/qualità incredibile Tirando le somme: Ottima cucina per il take away, ottimi prezzi Indicato come ristorante sulla guida, e non lo è.
