We just got back from our 2 week honeymoon trip to Italy. It was our first time in Italy and we ate at dozens of restaurants from Florence to the Chianti region, and finally Vicopisano. Of everywhere we ate, this was our favorite. We are there two of the three nights of our stay in town. Tommy and Filippo (and I think there's one other guy running the show who we didn't have the pleasure of meeting) have something really special here. The foods incredible. Unpretentious, but still kinda fancy and incredibly delicious. Also, and this is important, they made us feel so welcome. Whenever I'm abroad and a tourist and I don't speak the language I feel self conscious and worry about being a bother, but Filippo was happy to explain the menu to any and everyone. He also poured us a couple glasses of prosecco on the house so we could "drink to forget" that the Celtics had just lost the NBA finals when he heard we were...

Great experience. The menu was in Italian, but luckily the friendly owner explained everything in English with much enthusiasm. The food was delicious and it was served in about 15 minutes. The prices were also really decent for the amount of food we got. It is a small restaurant with limited amount of tables. I would recommend to make a reservation if you want to be sure to have a table. I can totally recommend this place if you want to eat good food in a restaurant with professional staff...

This was our groups first meal in Italy and my personal favorite! Authentic, delicious Roman pasta with some great apps too.
