Everything here is 5 stars and I wish we could assign 10 stars. A diamond in the rough and a definite stop when you are in Vicoviscano. It’s not on the Main Street, so just journey a bit up Via Lante. Lisa is SO knowledgeable and an amazing host with a wealth of knowledge. Ivan was great but did not speak English. A great stop for tastings, wine by the glass, food and bottles to go. We really enjoyed the cheese tasting and the crustini with Gorgonzola with walnuts/honey. Did I say this was amazing!...

This is an amazing place! Lisa could not be friendlier and more informative if she tried! So knowledgeable about local wines and how they pair with different foods. The food served is beyond scrumptious, with so many favorites. We stayed for a week nearby and went there no less than THREE TIMES to enjoy the wines, the different food options, and just the overall conviviality. Cosa rende speciale un Winebar? Sicuramente la lista e la tipologia dei vini presenti. In questo locale, piccolo, decisamente intimo e perfetto per una coppia, ma anche le famiglie starebbero bene, viene seguita una particolare scelta. I vini che troverete, sono vini che i due proprietari hanno bevuto in giro, ed essendo piaciuti, li hanno riproposti. Scelta azzeccatissima direi. Non si trovano etichette commerciali, o famose per il "nome", ma una, non ampissima al momento,lista di vini, che difficilmente si trova altrove. La precedenza è ad I vini locali, ma si spazia anche fuori regione con interessanti bottiglie. Ovviamente si può prendere anche solo un calice, ma non di tutte le bottiglie ovviamente, anche se a parer mio, sarebbe un crimine nei confronti della bottiglia intera. Ma in questo locale non si beve solamente, e quindi la possibilità di scelta varia tra le focacce di Altopascio, ripiene a scelta, o svariando tra crostoni e taglieri di salumi e formaggi, di altissima qualità vista la provenienza. Tutto completato da un servizio decisamente amichevole e cortese, che ti fa sembrare di essere a cena da amici. Completiamo il tutto con il fatto che la via non ha traffico di auto, e che il locale si trova in un centro storico favoloso. Da provare...
