It was a cozy rainy day and we happened upon Apricot Cafe. In addition to a comfortable homey environment, the food was home made, cooked fresh and without much of wait. The husband and wife duo were more then welcoming and generous to a fault, as we American’s stumbled through the menu. Hot tea was included upon our seating. The food was delicious and plentiful. We highly recommend Apricot!

We popped in here on a brief visit to Asamushi whilst looking for the footbaths and the onsen eggs. The staff are friendly and helpful with their menus and the food is great, lots of local ingredients. It was very tasty. It's not far from the station and has short opening hours for late lunch early dinner. Well worth stopping by if you're in Asamushi.

We popped in here on a brief visit to Asamushi whilst looking for the footbaths and the onsen eggs. The staff are friendly and helpful with their menus and the food is great, lots of local ingredients. It was very tasty. It's not far from the station and has short opening hours for late lunch early dinner. Well worth stopping by if you're in Asamushi.
