ムトー — Restaurant in Asahikawa

Muto is a small cafe that offers great food at a great bargain!

For those wondering where the entrance is, it is a little hard to locate and is found to the left of the building shown on Google Maps, in a small gravel driveway. It is a small white door.

The couple owning the store are extremely friendly to foreigners and try their best to speak English to accommodate foreign customers.

The menu is fairly extensive and offers mainly traditional japanese cuisine such as donburis, though it also includes some novelty items such as spaghetti. For breakfast most items come with a coffee set which is fairly worth the money.

一瞬、お店だとは思わない外観のムトー。正面からはピットインムトー、でも入り口前にはレストハウスムトーと書いてある。本当の店名はどっちだ？まあムトーと呼べばいいだろう。さて中に入ると雰囲気は喫茶店。しかし食事メニューはかなり豊富。月〜日まで毎日変わる日替わり弁当にはコーヒーが付いている。他にもスパゲティやカレーなど、とにかくメニューの品数はかなりある。お弁当なのでメインのおかずが変わるだけだが、毎日来る様なお客さんもいるんだろうな。ご飯はちょっと少なめに感じる人もいると思うので大盛りで注文してもいいかもしれない。ただ、大盛りはいくらマシになるのかは不明。この日の日替わりは木曜日で生姜焼き。しかし別ページには生姜焼き定食がある。値段は日替わり750円に対して、普通の定食は650円。どちらにしても安いのだが、100円の違いはちょっとしたとこにあるんだろうな。実は入り口は駐車場側に勝手口があり常連はそこから出入りする。帰りはおじさんおばさんに裏口から出れるよと案内されるので良き人はそこから出入りするのもありだね。そして、店内にある懐かしのテーブルゲーム。きっと電源入れても今は使えないんだろうなぁ。おじさんもおばさんも感じの良い方でついつい長居しちゃうお店だね。因みに...

嚴冬週日的上午，很多店都沒有開，在 Google Maps 上找到飯店附近的這一家店 啊～這就是我很喜歡的充滿昭和風的老咖啡廳！ 原先想去吃早餐的，因為中途先去逛了超市，於是變成吃午餐了。
