BURGER'S HAP — Restaurant in Asahikawa

HaP makes good burger. Now, for some unknown reason, Asahikawa has a better burger scene than just about anywhere else in Hokkaidō (as of 2019 that is). Competition is good for quality though, I feel anyways.

Of the options available HaP does the “most interesting” burger. They always have a monthly burger, their baked apple burger is great. The HaP burger is huge. The HaP SP burger is mammoth (see picture). Avocado is always done well and they chilli on the chilli burger is surprisingly legit.

Now, in general, their burgers are pork based, though they now have an option for 100% local beef, which is nice, though there is a surcharge. The burgers are a good size, well, the SP is huge, but the normal burgers are a sensible portion. Fries are just a garnish however and if you’re hungry come dinner time, consider ordering more.

Nice Burger Restaurant, i liked very much. Good concept, staff/ owners was very motivated. Unfortunately my Burger a classic double patty burger wasn't good☹️ not tender and dry with a oily bitter flavor. Too much cooked. The Bun and the wedges are great. Best authentic burger joint in town! We have been regulars for the past decade or so, and their burgers are always grilled to perfection; the ingredients are fresh and the presentation is just amazing!
