Perfect lunch after visiting the blue pond. It is a small shop popular amongst locals - a short wait is likely yet worth it. The miso based ramen has a strong but balanced flavor. The Hokkaido butter softens into the broth and augments both taste and texture. The noodles were firm, fresh, and delicious with pleasant mouthfeel. The portions are huge - even the biggest appetites will be satisfied. There are a few parking spaces right outside of the shop. Since there was no room to wait inside, the ladies in the shop kindly advised us to wait in our car and came back out to get us when our seats were available. There is always a queue as people can actually call in to reserve a spot ahead of time. But it was delicious so I can forgive that! I usually hate miso ramen but this totally changed my mind. The quality of miso they use is very high and unlike anything else I’ve had. The noodles are also perfect.
