It’s a lovely restaurant that located in a village surrounded by nature. We ordered set lunch and the food definitely did not disappoint. It was fresh and sweet. The fried gluten was so yum!! They also have option for pasta and beef curry if you want more than just fresh organic vegetables. You’ll HAVE to make reservations at least a day before as the restaurant is not big and seating is very limited. They only open for lunch so make sure you called ahead before coming.

Simply outstanding. Easily the best meal I’ve had in Japan, and one of the top meals I’ve had in my life. Everything was impeccable… atmosphere, taste, presentation. I feel very honoured to have eaten here. It is a meal I will remember for the rest of my life! Thank you so much to the chef and server.

先日初めて訪問しました 営業時間が3時まで、オーダーストップが2時半まで…との事でしたが 他の名所で迷ったり渋滞したり等で予約よりかなり遅れての入店となりました(過ぎた時点で電話連絡済) 友達のも私のスマホも一旦内牧方面への迂回路を指していて、57号線からスグに入れたのに大回りしてしまいました 周りは畜産関係の農家さんやらが多い村中だったので、その方が導入の雰囲気は良かったかもですが… 高い生垣で囲われた駐車場(かなり狭い！3台くらい？)に入ると、雰囲気が一変!! ワレットさんやガレットさん等、アチコチ行かせて貰ってますが… コチラは元々納屋だった建物を雰囲気残しつつ大改造されたそうで、 また一味違った古民家カフェ感が楽しめます 今から思えば、残念な事に3人で食事したのに同じメニューにしてしまい(看板メニューの車麩フライのコース)写真は他の方と同様なので省きますが… サクサクに食感良く揚がった3種の衣の車麩は、当方には新食感！でした 最初に出てくるポタージュスープにしても丁寧な仕事されている感じでしたし、サラダもドレッシングも新鮮！デザートのケーキも優しいお味で、どれもとても美味しかった！ 私的には五穀米とパンが選べるのですが、コチラも3人共にパンにしてしまい…流行りの丸い型で焼くフランスパンに近いような食感のスライスされたパンだったのが…パサパサした感じが強く、もっと外カリ中モッチとかだったらな〜とそこだけ残念でした 時間ギリギリに入ってるので、かなり営業時間をオーバーしてしまった上に店内見学までさせていただきましたが、急かせるような感じは一切無く、ゆったりくらいのタイミングで次の品が出て来て…結果出たのは4時半近くだったと思います 垣根で隔たれ一瞬で周りとは違った空間に入れるコチラ 違うメニューを頼みに… そして雰囲気を味わいに… また行かねば！と思いつつ帰りました

A beautifully cozy restaurant in the north Aso area of Kumamoto. The menu selection is limited and it is only open until they are sold out, but the quality is excellent. They use only fresh ingredients from the local area to make delicious meals. Parking and menu is limited so I suggest arriving there early for...
