We went to the roadside station to get info on how we can best get to Mt Aso. Luckily, the Mt Aso information counter , right at the front, had an English guide who provided excellent advice on how to best spend our day hiking Mt Aso, how to get there, the bus times, the ticket counter, etc. His advice gave us the opportunity to see everything on our list and optimize our day. If you are a bit lost and don’t know how to get to see the beautiful craters — definitely get info here!!
