Food may not very delicious, the atmosphere wins, operated by an old couple, it is heartwarming to see them arguing on which kitchenware should be put into dish washing machine, they smile a lot, very nice to foreigners. Menu are in Japanese, Chinese, English.

During my stay at Hokkaido, Sapporo people are the most annoying up to now: 7-11 guys are murmuring about non-japanese speaking tourists, and a woman driving a small sedan honked me and give the non-friendly look when speeding up...

Made a pitstop at this cosy little eatery run by an elderly couple! The hubby takes care of the front while the wifey cooks at the back, with hubby occasionally stepping in to assist when it gets busy. Hence do have some patience during your visit. Menu is simple - soba, oyako-don and ramen; but it was what we needed to warm our tummies from the cold. Ambience and hospitality from the elderly couple were such an inviting ambience for us. Be sure to stop by this heartwarming...

Not too many places to eat if you are here visiting the waterfall at meal times. Like some of the reviews before this, basic but decent food. On the menu there is ramen, curry (sauce) with rice, chicken & egg rice bowl. Cheap and traditional / basic. Like a lot of Japanese eateries in the countryside this place is run by an elderly couple who were friendly and helpful. There is a ‘gift shop’ attached that must have seen...
