Toritetsu KaihinMakuhari — Restaurant in Chiba

Not what you would expect inside a shopping mall! I was craving yakitori for dinner. Did a search of the area and found Toritetsu Kaihin Makuhari on the 4th floor in the shopping mall. When you enter the place you are transformed into what I call a local yakitori shop you would find in older parts of Japan. But a great atmosphere! The staff were quick to help me, even though I could speak Japanese they weren’t phased with a big foreigner entering the place. The food, really delicious! Quick service, cooked well and also received some delicious recommendations. Even some staff could speak English! What a treat! Pricing is fare on the skewers, more meat on the skewers would have been nice but this is Tokyo area so not overly expensive. I was overly pleased with the smiles, quick service and friendly service throughout the night! Just received my bill, ¥4,650 for a huge glass and a medium glass of draft beer and all the food I’m posting is fantastic! lol, I’m stuffed and was expecting ¥6,000 to ¥7,000
