Great location near the station. Cheerful decor and reasonable prices. They were very fast (I was the only customer at 17:00 on a Monday). The food was great albeit even a level 2 was quite spicy. Dinner B set includes two (very small) curries, Nan or roti, salad, tandoori chicken, and a lovely orange mango compote. However, I won't return again because the waiter who "welcomed" me was very awkward and short with words. When I arrived for dinner there was a placemat style menu set prominently on the table from which I proceed to make my order. I couldn't even get through my first sentence before the waiter informed me that it was a lunch menu and gestured at a random collection of flyers where I assumed the mysterious dinner menu was hiding. After perusing some nearly identical options, I attempted to make my order again. This time I made it as far as "Sag mutt-" before he impatiently gestured at the selection of curries on the lunch menu! Understanding that I should apparently make my dinner selection from the options on the lunch menu, I finally requested goma-nan and had to endure another awkward exchange about prices. 今日はインドカレー屋へ足を運びました。外はあいにくの雨。店舗は二階に位置し、昼過ぎに到着すると店内は空いていて、すぐに席へ案内されました。 メニュー表を見ると、そのリーズナブルさに驚かされます。特に目を引いたのはチキンティッカ。なんと1本90円。早速注文し、熱々の状態で運ばれてきたチキンティッカを一口。見た目は鮮やかな赤で、手で食べると指先がオレンジ色に染まるので注意が必要です。しかし、その味わいは価格以上の満足感。ジューシーで香ばしく、スパイスが程よく効いています。お供にはハイボールを注文しましたが、個人的には少し残念でした。炭酸が薄めでウイスキーが濃いめのため、好みが分かれるかもしれません。ただ、このバランスが好きな方にはぴったりでしょう。そして今回のハイライトは、あんこナンのテイクアウト。価格もお手頃で、期待以上の美味しさに驚きました。もちもちの生地には薄くバターがコーティングされており、熱々の状態で口に含むと、じゅわっとしたバターの香りともちっとした食感が広がります。中のあんこは甘すぎず、絶妙なバランス。まるでたい焼きを思わせるような美味しさで、このあんこナンを求めて...
