Not only the foods they serve here are pretty good, their hospitality is at extremely high level, making you more than pleasant. Being a local hangout, the atmosphere is quite casual and welcoming, offering range of dishes from various appetisers to Jidori/chicken dishes, with supposedly the best chicken in Japan - Nagoya Cochin. (can choose sashimi-raw or tadaki-grilled on the outside) Also if you’re wearing yukata-Japanese traditional outfit. a free glass of Shochu or Chuhai is on the house. I enjoyed my Kilnkan Chuhai, suggested by the lady of the house.
As I had just bruised my leg rather severely on the way to hanabi, the very attractive and courteous lady woking here handed me a whole roll of band-aid, not just one, along with materials for dressing. She even packed me extra band-aids on my way out making sure I'd better be careful in watching my steps late at night. :)
