The wine tasting was fun, the views and countryside are beautiful, and the service was amazing, but in the land of culinary delights the food couldn’t compare to hole in the wall diners down the street. Of our five courses, the first two had me wishing there had been salt or fresh pepper or anything to give them flavor, the fish was delicious but clashed with the cabbage it was served with, the steak was heavenly, and the desert was alright. The whole meal was a confused mass of cultures. They should do what Europe does, and have a wine list pairing to go with the meals, the wine by glass often didn’t complement the food.
