Can I give more than five stars. I would give 7 and subtract one for how dirty it is. 6 stars!!! My favorite place to eat in Fukui. I have lost count how many times I have been. Awesome atmosphere, small and quaint. BUT if you look too closely at anything, its never been cleaned or dusted in 10 years. It's also a small place and for some dumb reason the owner allows smoking. I guess he sees it as an izakaya, but not much alcohol selection and the true draw is the food and insane selection of dishes. This places has so many dishes it blows my mind that he has all the ingredients hidden away in his tiny kitchen. Mexican, vietnamese, some Japanese, Thai. Lots of fusion this and that. Too much to list here. Coupons too if you go on a weekday! Coupons in Japan?! Also the only place I have ever been able to find fried soft shell crab in Japan. And every dish is affordable. from 400 to 700 yen. Just order a couple dishes for yourself. half a dozen for the table and everyone can try a ton of...

Their restaurant has a very interesting ambience and decors. One of my go to place to eat dinner with friends. Although, you need to call to reserve a table before going because they are usually full. They have a wide variety of food and drinks to choose which is really nice and the prices are from 700-1500yen only...

For me being from the South I didn't like. Jambalaya was bland. The buffalo wings was just salsa from a jar and Tabasco poured on it. The wings was not cooked hard at all. I didn't like it. But it seems like Japanese like it.
