They often say you can’t judge a book by its cover (who said that... Poor Richard?), but Tex-Mex is just about as good inside as it is outside. I don’t know what Tex-Mex really is; the only preconception I had was the image of nachos mixed with fries that I saw on a televised Rangers game. So when I got there and discovered the same old pseudo-Mex fare, that is, blackened steak meat on tortillas, with green sauce, etc, I was neither pleased nor disappointed. I admit to being spoiled by the delicious Sonora-style Mexican cuisine of Southern California. A party of 6 people and an Uber eats order was enough to make the server forget one of the dishes I ordered, though when I reminded him he gave me a free sour cream. Sweet bbq sauce on ribs, sweet salsa in tacos, but otherwise good way to get a long overdue taco fix. Ribs very Melt in mouth tender, meat in tacos is tasty.
