Firstly, I will say that if you are making this reservation on booking dot com, be sure to set the settings to one guest instead of two, which is the default. Seemingly, the price of one guest is different from the price of two, even if you’re both just using one room.||Anyway, the check in process here was pretty easy, and I got a staff that spoke English really well (I think this depends on staffing, not everyone can speak it). They have a bunch of free toiletries which you can use, though I didn’t take any. They also have a communal bath somewhere upstairs, which I also didn’t use. ||I watched a little bit of television here, but there are only like a few channels and none of them are in English. I was also able to use my USB charging cable here. In all, I believe my room only cost like $66 USD, which is good (fair price for what it was), and I think the service I received was decent. This place is walkable from/to Hakata station (no uphill or anything), so if you need to make a train after staying here, it’s totally doable, though keep in mind it’s like a ten minute walk, and there definitely are hotels which are much closer to the station. In terms of proximity to the airport, it’s also fairly close: a cab to the airport takes maybe 15-20 mins, and costs around 2000 yen to get there (metered). Overall, really good and I would come again if I was alone and had some business in Fukuoka. Oh, also no carpet in the room, which is a huge plus for me.||Review posted September 24th, 2023; 1...

Read moreI stayed here as a solo female traveller in Feb 2020. I stayed for 2 nights, but paid for 3 as I had a late night flight and did not want to hang around for nearly 12 hours. I paid £102 for 3 nights - so great price considering how close you are to the station and 1/2 away from the airport.||The hotel is 10 mins max from Hakata Station - so excellent location. The hotel is new, clean and has a free public bath on the 14th floor and free hot/cold drinks on the 02nd floor which was amazing.||My room was on the 05th floor 523 - which was right by the elevator - so could be noisy but otherwise was fine. The room is small - but it is bigger then most japanese rooms. The bathroom was big, bath tub deep and shower pressure great. I stayed in a double room - so was fine for a single person but you might struggle with 2, although if I was with my husband we would have been fine. There is no wardrobe so nowhere to put your luggage. Free wifi, kettle and fridge in room. ||There is also a coin laundry which was brilliant - they have washing and drying facilities. ||For a short stay you cannot complain, if you wanted a hotel for more then 4 days this may not be the place for you. ||The only issue is there are only 2 elevators so sometimes it took up to 10 minutes to be able to...
