ナン ハウス — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Came here on a recommendation. They were very accommodating by allowing us to substitute the curry in the sets with dal curry at no extra cost. The dal curry was good and there was a large portion.

The spice levels are a bit higher than most places. For example, I ordered 中辛, and it was more like 辛口. Be careful when ordering.

The naan was very chewy and crispy, which is good, but different from the fluffy and doughy naan that most curry shops serve here.

Even though there is a no smoking sign outside of the restaurant, we smelled tobacco as we were leaving, which really makes us not want to eat there again.

Overall, the atmosphere was more for partiers, and not really family friendly and the food was good but nothing special.

この手のお店って、大抵何処も美味しいんだけど、何故か、カレーがぬるいお店が多くないですか？ でも、こちらのお店はカレーも暖かいし、ナンも焼きたてのアツアツでお値段もリーズナブルで雰囲気も良く、ゆっくりと食事ができます。

一つだけ、改善して欲しいのは、メニュー表が少し紛らわしい部分があります。 行ったことのある方なら分かると思いますが、お昼のランチでAセットとBセットの写真、勘違いしませんか？ 私は旦那と一緒に行っているのですが、メニュー表のメニューの隣に載ってる写真を見る限り、2人ともAセットは2つのカレーの中から好きな方を1つ選ぶ、そしてBセットは4つのカレーの中から2つを選ぶものだと思ってしまいました。 そこで、2人ともBセットを注文したらカレーが1つしかない。 精算の時に確認したら、メニュー表の写真の横にに載ってるAセットが2種類のカレーの中から食べたいカレー1つ選択。Bセットは4種類のカレーの中から好きなカレーを1つ選択するという意味だったみたいで。 私達は注文時に食べたいカレーを2種類ずつ注文したのですが、店主さん達は日本語が完璧では無い為、旦那と私が選んだ2つのカレーが同じだった為、その時に意思確認が出来ませんでした。 勘違いした私達が悪いのですが、あのメニュー表を見る限り、勘違いする人多いんじゃないかと思いました。 何故、そう思ったのかと言うと、精算時、店主さんにその事を伝えようとしたら、即答でベラベラの日本語で説明されたので、同じことを何度も言われたから、その質問に対してはスラスラと日本語が喋れたのではないかと思ったからなんです。 それ以外の時は、割とカタコトの日本語で予約の間違いがあったりとかあるので笑
