This is a must visit for matcha lovers. Ryo Hei (I think that was his name) is truly passionate about fukuoka matcha. It’s definitely tastes different to other regions such as Uji. I think it has a more of a roasted and nutty quality. We ended up trying 4 different types with his recommendation and it was delightful. He was so knowledgeable and passionate it was a joy to learn and taste his years of dedication. We ended up buying some matcha to take away and he even gave us advice where to buy certain equipment and bowls which we really appreciated. We paid for 4 drinks but left with a memorable experience.
