The best ramen I’ve had in Fukuoka (and maybe even japan??). Good for solo travelers as you eat at your own little booth. You order at the vending machine beforehand (I ordered ramen and special vinegar). It’s a ramen place so.. order ramen!
You then go in and they give you a form to fill out at your booth. If you need, ask for an English form. It will ask you how you want everything prepared (noodle hardness, richness of broth, etc). Once you fill it out and give it in it arrives about 3 minutes later.

Order and pay at the vending machine inside the door. Take your ticket(s) to a seat inside. Put your tickets on the table and press the call button. Read moreReally great experience - the real deal for ramen in Fukuoka. We were brought by someone who has lived their whole life here.
The real joy is that you can tweak your ramen on the order sheet - noodle firmness, stock richness, garlic, spiciness etc. They taste great.
You get a ticket from a vending machine before you come in (the machine has English translations) and sit along the bar. A nice touch is that you can open the dividers either side of you if you’re eating with others.
