It's a secret place, hiding in a small street at the foot of Mt. Shinobu. I have been to that mountain already but I didn't know that there are shops on that small street off from the main road. It's a Japanese styled cafe and restaurant. You can sit on the floor and enjoy the view through the big windows. There are free to read books as well, so if you can read Japanese or you are just interested in Japanese books, this place entertain you for a while. We had a menu of vegetable based Japanese dishes, then ice cream with fruits for dessert and a coffee. It had a reasonable price, this all for about 1300 yen. But, thanks to that we were able to try all the desserts on the menu, we had the vegetable soup (which was delicious and full of vegetables and mochi), the red bean paste soup with mochi, and a tarte tatin, everything was beautiful!!!
