一清 — Restaurant in Hagi

This was a great experience, the chef is really friendly and really used the English he did know very well. We got a useful fish menu so that way we knew what type of sushi we ordered. That was the only English menu but if you have your phone you can google translate the menu with all of the options (other than the sushi) or do like I did and look at what the locals got. I got the salmon and it was amazing and I think was my favorite with the ikura as my second favorite for the sushi. Very unusual and fresh sashimi - whale meat, flounder, congor eel and cod sperm were on the menu that night. The stewed sea bream was also very good.
