This is one of the best & most unique Yakiniku I’ve had! The beef & horumon (innards) is locally sourced from a nearby Hakodate farm (not the kuroge wagyu breed but taste as good if not better!) and is inexpensive! It’s a well-known hole-in-the-wall grill bar that is frequented by locals (the shop has been around for more than 50 years!!). The current Master is 2nd Generation owner who spent 5 hours everyday to cook the broth for the spicy galbi soup (added rice inside like ochazuke style). The folks who run this yakiniku bar are a lovely and friendly Japanese couple. Totally recommended as a must-go if you are in Hakodate! And they are opened til late. Recommended dishes: beef Jo-Karubi, Horumon, spicy beef...

This is a local yakiniku spot where the food is good, but the service and ambiance are great. I am thankful to the staff for being kind to other tourists who came in and couldn't speak Japanese. I watched as the server/hostess was willing to use Google Translate to assist them. This restaurant also uses charcoal instead of gas. This makes the yakiniku taste a lot better! I will return again in the future...

We had a late dinner here. The restaurant looks small but the yakiniku is surprisingly good. We had several kinds of beef and salads together a Korean style egg rice soup. The beer and the ice oolong tea are great. I will definitely visit...
