A small, unassuming cafe tucked away at a relatively obscure location. The small wooden structure building housing the cafe appears to have been a sort of government facilities in the past located just past the foreigners cemetery between 2 roads.
It sits on a small hilly parcel of land overlooking the bay of hakodate. Thus the window seats in the cafe offer a very pleasant view of the sea and mountains.
There were few patrons in the cafe during my visit. The atmosphere in the cafe was quiet and soothing with a bit of sense of history and eccentric. The cafe offers a wide array of tea from all across Japan for patrons.
