Alright. Just alright. Mediocre, if I’m being honest.
This restaurant is nestled within an onsen, and you must purchase an onsen ticket before entering the premises.
We ordered the ox tongue barbecue set. The food was alright, but the price was quite steep and, in my opinion, unjustified. The food itself cost around ¥1700, which I consider a fair price. However, considering the ¥1700 onsen ticket fee, regardless of whether you plan to use it, the total amount spent exceeded ¥3000.
The restaurant served us an ample amount of rice, but I found the ox tongue portion a bit stingy. The ox tongue was lightly seasoned, which I thought tasted alright. I have, however, had much more delicious ox tongue and this was not worth the ¥3000 price tag. The miso soup was good, but not exceptional, as I felt it lacked depth in terms of flavor.
Considering the lack of taste and rather stingy portions for the meal set, I found this experience to be somewhat of a rip-off. The onsen ticket made me feel like I had paid for something premium, but the food quality fell far short of that expectation.
This meal left me quite disappointed as I was expecting something special. Mediocre best describes...

This restaurant has a beautiful view overlooking the Sukumo River, and the interior design is reminiscent of an old Japanese house, so U can enjoy a relaxing meal. The rice porridge at the end was also delicious with the dashi soup. There are also a variety of other dishes on the menu, including eel, beef yakiniku, and...

I was not really impressed with the ungai, which was served so late that my friends had already finished with their meals.
The other set, which I can’t remember the name had a nice velvet cream served that I couldn’t get...
