酒と飯 Mitu食堂 — Restaurant in Hashimoto

Very friendly and patient staff as we used "google translate" to scan the Japanese menu.The restaurant was well patronised by locals and we seemed to be the only foreigners there. We ordered the roast beef and yaki soba together with two other side dishes and warm sake. All the dishes were very good food as was the sake. The bill came up to 3,490 yen which was very reasonable for 2. This is also a very honest establishment. A mistake was made in the billing and we were charged twice. However one of the charge was reversed when the hotel (Hotel Route Inn, Hashimoto) we stayed in, contacted them on our behalf. We had already left for our next destination when the restaurant reopened for business. Kudos to the hotel...

ランチでは初めて伺いました！ 夜は居酒屋になります。 年配のお客さんで賑わっていました。 値段も税込表示でわかりやすく、リーズナブル。 ただ品数は少ないです。 日替わりが3品、定番が4品程。 う〜ん悩むなぁと定番からレディースセット900円、チキン南蛮カレー800円をチョイスしました。 日替わりは生姜焼きやオムライス等がありました。 10分ほどで提供されました。 レディースセットの第一印象、ごはん少なっ！ってなりました。 小鉢がチラホラ、一口ケーキやしそジュース、ミニカレーがついていました。 なるほど、年配が好きそうな量です。 味は薄くも濃くもなく、優しい家庭的な味付けでお米は地元の恋の米だそうです。 一つだけ残念だったのはお味噌汁。 出汁をきちんと抑えていて欲しかったです。 まぁお値段からすればこのくらいなんでしょうか？ 接客は可もなく不可もない感じ。 ただお水くらいは気にかけて頂けると嬉しかったです。 チキン南蛮カレーはジューシーに揚がったチキン。 邪魔をしているタルタルソース。 タルタルがもっと美味しかったら、、、。 もうちょっと、、と感じるランチでした。
