The owner is a gentle intelligent man with grace and smile. He speaks English and Spanish, too. A fascinating man who exemplifies this small seaside town.

Delightful cafe in a traditional Japanese structure. The owner can speak both English/Spanish and has spent time in both South and North America. 「とても美味しいコーヒーが飲める」と聞き、行ってみました。 古民家を改築したその店で出されるコーヒーはコスタリカで生産されたものだそうです。

ひとくち飲んで美味しいと感じるコーヒーに巡り合う機会は、私の記憶の中ではそれほど多くありません。

しかしながら、今回は久しぶりにそんな風味に出会うことが出来ました。

一緒に注文したシフォンケーキはしっとりとした舌触りと軽い甘さで、コーヒーとの相性がとてもよく、お勧めしたい一品です。

そして店内の雰囲気も落ち着いていて居心地がよく、スタッフの対応も丁寧です。

でもだからと言って、長時間居座るのはお勧めできません。

今のところ駐車スペースも３台分で、全て埋まっていた場合、２００ｍほど離れた京急ストアのコインパーキングに停めることになります。

元気な方であれば問題ない距離ですが、少々脚が悪かったり、あいにくの悪天候だった場合は入店を諦めるかもしれません。
