If you want really good Yakitori (Chicken on stick) and freshly cooked hot rice mix this is the place to go.

The Yakitori is right off the grill and you can get all kinds. Chicken skin was one of my favorites and you can get it with their Yakitori sauce or salted. both are good and can't go wrong with either.

We also got two large portion size of the rice bowls and this takes about 20 mins as they cook the rice with he mixture, we got the vegetables and seafood version and they were both great.

Plenty of seats available and have a ticket counter to check in. This part is just Japanese so you may need to get some assistance. However ordering is done through a tablet and it does have English on their and their menu has some English on them.

They have parking spaces available and if it is super crowded you can park on the street.

Worth a drive over to get the food here. We will...

If you want to experience the best Yakitori (traditional Japanese grilled chicken bites on a skewer) as well as Kamameshi (rice pots), this is the place to come.

The Yakitori here is simply wonderful, and you will likely not find another as good in the region. Grilled to perfection, all their offerings are juicy and tender, without being overly grilled or burnt. I still can’t figure out how they grill their onions so that they are fully cooked without being charred.

Try everything on the menu… they have an electronic system now, so you can see pictures and order by each piece. Honestly, it’s not a bad idea to just order one of everything!

Pro Tip - if you come in early June, sit by the window by the river after dark. The hotaru (fireflies) will light up the night, and create simply “otherworldly” experience during your meal.

Location of restaurant is far from town, and it is very quiet. You may order Kamameshi, which is cooked from raw rice with your choice, like chicken with egg, salmon, crab, earl, shrimp, and so on. You have to wait about for 30 minutes. It is suggested to order Yakitori set served with 12 sticks, and/or Tofu salad, while Kamameshi is ready. Yakitori or Tofu salad could be shared with a couple of people. Free parking about for 20 cars...

Great food and atmosphere. We’ve been coming here for a couple of years and had brought friends on several occasions. The only turn off in these last few visits was that the older gentleman who greets guest kept on suggesting we have to speak Japanese on two separate visits to me and my girlfriend, and made us feel quite uncomfortable as foreigners. Apart from that all the rest of the staffs had shown great hospitality and provided great service.
