Kaisen Himimae Sushi — Restaurant in Himi

When we visited, the parking lot was under construction for expansion. As the weather was good, we used the Himinoe Park parking lot in front of the facility, across the national highway. From this park, you can see the Tateyama mountain range across the sea. We are grateful for the weather. The michinoeki has many souvenir shops and a food court, so you can walk around and look at each shop even in bad weather. The prices at the restaurant seemed to be tourist prices. People who use the roadside station parking lot should use the crosswalk at the end of the michinoeki to go to the observation deck in the park across the national highway, but most people avoid the detour and cross the national highway directly. [2019.６.１(土)３] 県外店舗レビューの６。１.13(日)昼、男４人で利用。｢ひみ番屋街｣内にあり。 11:00台の確か前半に入店したところ既に順番待ちの客が何組もあり、 暫く番屋街内の他の店で時間を潰したのち 正午過ぎだったか12:15頃だったか漸く席に就くことができました。 味は･･･ 正直｢まあこんなもんかなぁ｣と云う程度でした。 不味くはなかったものの、旨過ぎて目玉が飛び出る程と云うこともありませんでした。 そのときのメンバーのうち１人(２人？)が以前金沢市の回転寿司屋で あまりの旨さに吃驚仰天したことがあるそうで、 その店の方が旨かったようなことを言っていました。私は店名等一切知らんのですが･･･ (実を言うと私達も、地元民故逆にあまりピンとこんのですが 他所の人間に言わせるとどうやら魚が旨いらしい土地の者です) 注文は、既出レビューに散見される｢紙に書いて渡す｣やり方でした。 味以外のことにも触れておきましょう。 メンバーの１人が、私達に対するものではなかったとは云え 店員の１人の物言いが高圧的で｢客に対してあれはどうか｣と云う意味のことを言っていました。 他には･･･ 順番待ちの者も含めて客が多いにしては通路が狭かったので 正にその順番待ちの客の前などかなり通りにくく、 所謂ホールスタッフが少なくともそのときは１人だけしかも｢ほぼ婆さん｣位の年格好の店員だけで、 あとで皆で｢１人やったら１人で 若い(＝キビキビ動ける)の入れたらええのになァ｣と。 余談。私がこれ迄にレビューを投稿した店舗の中に ここへ一緒に行った者とメンバーが重複している店があるので 見る者が見たら私だとわかる筈なのですが、別にわかったらわかったで構いません。 斯く言う私も、それらの店へ一緒に行った者／行ってない者取り混ぜ レビューを見ていて 本名を書いてあるのですぐわかった者や 記載内容からして｢それっぽい｣のだが半信半疑と云う者が２～３名居るので。 無論、それを方々で吹聴してやろうなどと云う気は 毛頭ないのですが。

Lovely service and chefs chatted with me about my travels! They do seasonal sushi and sashimi, with loads of traditional Japanese style dishes (fish head soup etc) there is a small selection of fried dishes but a non fish eater would struggle with just fried chicken.
