Ganko Sushi がんこ 寿司 Hirakata Store — Restaurant in Hirakata

Visited this restaurant today for lunch and it was exquisite, we had a private room booked as it was a special occasion and a meeting of my extended Japanese family. The atmosphere was excellent which meant that we were all in high spirits. When we first walked in the first course was already on the table for us, to say the least it was like artwork and the food was sensational especially the sashimi-delicious, the second course included tempura, the third course was seasonal steamed rice with egg and whitebait and miso on the side. The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was very good too, all in all I was very impressed and would definitely return for another...

I went there several times and one of the last times had the chance to take these pictures. Really good service! The staff is super friendly and polite! The food is good quality, fresh and delicious. Good location. Easy access. Children friendly. (They give kids a small toy when you are leaving! Kids love it!...

Stuffs and atmosphere were totally awesome quality. However, a dish I’ve ordered was the worst quality of Una-ju I ever had. I’d have score 2 or 3 stars if it was 1000 yen, but it was 3000 yen. I guess it was the cheapest eel with wrong cooking method since skin texture of eel was too tough...
