What a quaint and lovely little place this was. Always glad to uncover little gems like these that affirm the value of taking the path less travelled (on a bike).

The cafe is a little over 500m further on from the Iwakiyama-jinja shrine (temple?), with ample parking space if you're driving.

Not a lot of good options available, but what was available was of great quality. We had the banana bread and pumpkin pie, with 2 coffees, and both desserts...

I was trying to find my way up the mountain during winter and encounter this cafe.

Came in to take a break from the snowfall and ask about the route up the mountain.

The owner can speaks simple english. He also told me that the mountain isn't accessible.

Ordered cheese toast and ice coffee for 1000 yen.

Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed looking at the snow...

Don’t think twice and enter this super cozy coffee. Nice modern wooden touch with view on the mountains and there seems always some customer with a dog around.

岩木山神社から百沢温泉へ。 いわき荘という温泉旅館へ行く国道沿いに、素敵なカフェを発見。 数年前来た時にはなかったので、わくわくと。 「ＬＩＴＴＬＥ　ＮＯＣＫ」ＣＯＦＦＥＥ＆ＤＯＧという看板。 犬を連れて入っていいカフェかと思い、入ってみる。 昨年（2018）オープンで、香りの良いコーヒーとスィーツを提供。 地元のリンゴを使ったアップルパイ、絶品でした！ リンゴいっぱい、生地が厚くて食べ応えあり。 チーズケーキは甘みをすごく抑えて、すっきりした美味。 店内は、お客さんが連れてきてワンちゃんがいて、癒されます。 店内はとっても清潔感あふれる空間で、白い壁に木の温もりがあり、あったかい日には戸外のテーブルが気持ちいい。 お店のご主人は脱サラして、この土地を見つけてカフェをオープンしたそう。 素敵なカップルのおもてなしが、東京からわざわざ青森までの旅を、ひときわ素敵なものにしてくれ感謝です。
