Go for the experience of BBQing your own food, its great with a group. I have been coming for years and the food is good, really depends on the season, sometimes very fresh oysters and live shrimp, other times only frozen food. Also other items like sausage, corn, peppers, shitake, conch, octopus, lemons, onions. Offering depends on season, sometimes lots of seafood options, sometimes very limited to mostly oysters. In the summer outdoor bbqs are used because it is so very hot inside. Very popular for lunch, would recommend making a reservation if big party or if planning to come at a busy time.

Normally you can buy beer, but because of covid, beer vending machines are closed. Soda, tea, water, coffee vending machines available. You have to use the toilets in the park, none in the building. Absolutely fantastic!!! I wish every single tourist visiting Japan would stop here for a meal because this is very unique, interesting and a fun experience. Walking into the lobby you are greeted and directed to an area full of fresh meats, veggies, seafood and other goodies like butter and desserts. I visited in 2019 and now again in 2023 and it’s still awesome! Great experience doing your own barbecue oysters in the park. 3 minutes each side and your oysters start sizzling. We preferred to bbq them abit more to five min on the non flat side. That gave a slightly charred taste which was just awesome. We tried marshmallows, vegetables and some onigiri. All tasted great...
