The grandpa is super friendly, as soon as we entered the shop to browse, he poured us tea and let us go through all the matcha cups in the cabinet (and some are very expensive!!) as we liked!

He even sang songs from the stories that some of the matcha cups were based on! There was no pressure to buy at all, but I had fell in love with one of the cheaper ones, and even then he gave us discount and free shuriken experience!

The shop has a cafe which we didn't have time for but would love to go back if we go back to...

An absolutely exceptional store with a kind and caring staff. This multi generational family offers a wide selection of hand made local pottery, locally made cat items and loving cat ninja mascot.

Chacha (茶々) the store mascot and local queen often takes walks around the neighborhood and if you're lucky, will wear her signature ninja costume (but only if you ask VERY nicely).

Tiny little cafe, but very cute. They offer up a number of sweets, parfaits, and drinks. Mainly it’s a shop, selling teas and related ware. Very friendly couple, seemed genuinely very kind. I would definitely visit next time I’m in town. Nothing beats a delicious ninja-inspired dessert after fighting off hordes of enemy samurai. Located a short walk away from Iga...
