Though short, this visit was excellent! It costs about 750¥ per adult for entry to the museum. You start by going through a house that had been designed to show you what a ninja's home might have looked like. The trap doors and hidden compartments were really cool. They have pull down posters in English at each stop they make so you can understand what's going on. That being said, because they are demonstrating, the posters weren't really necessary. Still, cool to have information. Then there is a small walkthrough museum containing information about ninjas. Almost everything had English information panels. There is a sizeable shuriken (ninja star) display here as well which was cool. After that, you can chose to watch the ninja demo show. This is an extra 400¥. I highly recommend it. Be sure to check the website for times as they don't run them every day. The show is mainly in Japanese, though they have select parts in English. Again, you don't necessarily need to understand to appreciate it because they demo the weapons so you're seeing it. The show lasts about 25 minutes. After the show, for an extra 200¥, I was able to try throwing shuriken. The guide (one of the men from the ninja show) was extremely patient and guided me through it. I even managed to get one to stick in the wall! From start to finish, the experience lasted about an hour. I really enjoyed it and would...

Iga... The place where the samurai Hattori Hanzo was born and raised... This place is famous for ninja... as for this museum... I forgot the entry fee... and you can only go in every 30 minutes... Why??? Well... Before the museum booth... there is a performance inside... the museum were located below the recreation of japanese old house... The performance is quite unique because it was showcasing the art on ninjutsu and their tricks... Like a hidden weapon in the floor and a hidden escape pathway... as for the underground museum... it was showcasing almost all of the recovered ninja and samurai's equipment... also explain how they disguise themself during assassination task... Also... THEY HAVE GIFT SHOP... :v After all... it was a quite good run... Also... there was a RECONSTRUCTED Ueno Castle around the park... I didnt get the chance to visit it tho... since it was around 4 p.m. after my visit... and I came from Tobushijomae... quite far...

Also this picture is from 2 months ago......

Iga Ninja house is full of wonderful things that will make your day. When I visited there, it was so satisfying to know about Ninjas. Since the way to Ninja house from the car parking, I was already in the Ninja mood as many visitors were in the Ninja suits and their children, too. At the entrance of the house, we are greeted by Ninjas and show the way to enter the house. Then, an attractive Ninja girl explained various trips and traps installed in the house to the audience. Then, we went down to the underground floor to explore the Ninja museum whereby seeing various kinds of outfits, weapons and gadgets, continuing to see the history and origin of Ninja and about their skills and tasks as well. That was super exciting and you will know what are the real life of Ninjas. Finally, the Ninja Show brought us to the awesome experience of enjoying the incredible Ninja skills right in front of us. It is really a...
