The location is beautiful.
The food is only OK. I think the tempura batter is a bit thick. The curry has good flavour. The portion is generous.
The staff who I think is from Bali has a friendly mannerism but his service is very bad.
Firstly, I mentioned to him there's some curry on the table from previous diner. He touched it with his hand and said oh it's egg.... But he didn't clean it up and just smiled and walked away? I told you because I want you to clean it please?
Secondly, he saw my partner being Caucasian and instantly got very excited, maybe too excited. The whole time he kept calling him sir and only gave him eye contact or talk to him when it's about my order, etc. It made me uncomfortable. I would like to be treated as an equal at a dinner that I also pay for thanks.
Thirdly, there was some trash tissue on the floor so I asked him to clean it and he instantly picked it up and placed it on the tray that he took drinks out from... It's a bit unhygienic.
All in all, I understand it's cultural differences, but if this is a restaurant that I pay for, I expect a certain...

Read moreI went to Ikoma-yama theme park and my son didn't like it's noisy atmosphere. So we took the cable car and went to a random temple. And I encountered this restaurant.
This place is a hidden gem of this area. Try the terrace view tables and you'll enjoy stunning view, calm atmosphere, and excellent Indonesian food. I tried this chicken noodles and both main and subs are perfect.
Don't go shabby restaurant in the theme park....
