GOITI（ｺﾞｲﾁ） — Restaurant in Imabari

Stumbled onto this place with some friends while doing our last leg of the Kaido.

Everywhere else on Oshima was closed, but luckily, we found GOITI just as they were opening, so the menu was LIMITED.

But boy oh boy! This was the tastiest bowl of cold Udon I've ever had! It was so satisfying, especially considering how obscenely hot it was outside that day. Being of Caribbean descent, the silky bits of Okra were a pleasant surprise that went so well with the chewy udon; the broth was a standout showstopper that paired perfectly with a cold biru.

The host was so kind to give us a small tasting plate of different pickled vegetables and squid to share!

Best random find in our trip to Japan. We were a group of four that met doing the Shimanami Kaido cycle. Its was in the low season and luckily we found this place. We all ate the Soba and it was amazing. Full of flavor, without being overpowering. And the price was really good for the quality. The 4 of us agreed it was one of the best...

What a lovely place. We stopped for a lunch during Shimanami Kaido and it was wonderful. The food is very good, we choose 6 tastes lunch menu and every portion was delicious. Price affordable therefore definetely reccomemded!...
