When exploring Ise’s Geku Shrine area ⛩️, a must-try stop is Butasute Gekumaeten, a historic shop since the Meiji era 🏮. Famous for crispy menchi katsu and croquettes made with rich Ise beef 🐂✨, plus hearty gyudon and sukiyaki 🍲, the shop also serves tonteki, the iconic pork steak dish that originated right here in Mie 🍖🔥. It’s where history, local flavor, and comfort food come together 🙌.
