Bright, clean, and tidy. Self-service corner at the rear. Self-check out machines at the entrance, also it also connected to their souvenir shop and a takeaway foodstall. We can buy their prawn crackers and soup in the souvenir shop. Reservation is recommended for weekend and holiday lunch. ---- 8/10 Service: Good service. They were nice, polite, helpful, and friendly. To be seated. Waitpersons can speak English. Briefly introduced how to place orders by using tablets and the self-service counter. English/ other languages menu is available. Got hot roasted tea and hot tasting soup at the self-service counter. There was fish soup and lobster soup for free tasting on the day of the visit. Food served fast. Had lunch here. We ordered the ise-ebi which was delicious. What was really cool was that after you finished with the body, they took the head and made a soup with it.
They also had a more advanced tech than a lot of Japanese places. Our ordered from a tablet which is not rare, but it was the first time I had seen the tablet menu be laid out exactly like the physical menu, making it very easy to navigate.
They also had these rectangles on the tables that could be used to call a server to your table. Some stores and restaurants closed earlier due to the weather but this restaurant welcomed us. They offered us some Dashi(lobster, vegetables and fish based soup) samplers so we sipped them during our meals and these Dashi made us warm.
