BAR NOBU — Restaurant in Ishigaki

I was introduced to this bar by one of the locals when prompted for a good place that serves cocktails.

Upon approaching the enterance, it appeared like a nondescript illuminated door. However as you pushed through the door, you're greeted by jazz delighting your ears, it's decor is tastefully and sophisticatedly done.

The ambience is chic minimalist. The bartender and hostess creates a very immersive experience that's whisks you away from the streets of Ishigaki (nothing wrong with it though, it feels like an elevated ambience altogether).

If I lived on Ishigaki I would come here all the time. The drinks were very good and the venue is full of details and flourishes which demonstrate the care and attention of the proprietors.
