We ran into this place by accident but I’m so glad we did. It has vegetarian dish! It’s a very lovely place, with short opening hours unfortunately so be sure to get there early! The staff who work there are very sweet and friendly. The guy who works here made sure to ask whether cheese and mayo was okay on my vegetarian taco rice. It was perfect. KABIRA ごはん屋 has a small menu and also offers some takeaway bento boxes for those who prefer. We had the hiyashi tantanmen and it was so balanced and refreshing. Great flavour and a wonderful option on a hot Ishigaki summer day.

Got the dish of the day which was Thai style red curry with chicken, it was great. My wife got the udon beef noodles, and after we ordered they told us the beef was sold out so they made her a special dish with vegetables, egg and fried chicken on the side.
