ファミリーレストランメキシコ — Restaurant in Ito

Came here a while ago, and this has to be the worst restaurant I've been to, ANYWHERE. On a Friday night when everything else in the entire Ito area was fully booked for the night, this place was empty. This should have been a clue. Nobody came to ask our order, we had to call them at the door of the kitchen. Looking around, we noticed things weren't cleaned well. After our order nobody came to check on us if we needed anything.

Then after nearly 45 minutes the first plate arrived... the meat was barely cooked on the outside but just frozen and red inside, the vegetables didn't look or tasted fresh, and a pizza that was just soggy and uncooked. How do you not have fresh things during high season? How can you undercook literally everything? I tried a bite of a few things out of hunger, but we didn't really dare to eat it. In the end we left without eating, gave up on finding a restaurant and went to a conbini instead.

With the food I got and seeing reviews that people got food poisoning, bugs in their food,... I believe them. These positive reviews, were do these come from? Are...

A pretty looking place with courteous staff. The interiors are done nicely and ambience is cozy, colorful with interesting props. There were 2 pianos in one of the dining room so I am guessing there might be some performances sometimes. Food was prepared fresh and tasted quite ok. We liked the Mexican salad pizza, 2 pastas. Seafood pasta wasn’t that great. Overall just slightly above average food.

The whole place smells and we totally regret that we still went in. We had lunch set menu but it was bad to the point I felt sick. I really don’t recommend even for tourists. No wonder none of the locals talk about this place… on top of that, they serve Mexican, Italian, and Spanish…. All over, pretty crazy inside. I don’t even wanna give a star and I usually give good feedback but I had to write this down because it’s really not...
