We were walking back from visiting 大室山, and it was steaming hot. We felt like we were going to pass out from the heat after missing a bus and feeling exhausted. My wife insisted we take our time and walk around. I thought to myself, 'What could be around in the middle of the countryside?'
Until we stepped into the interior, I was awestruck. It was fascinating and even otherworldly to step into an old European antique-style cafe hall with not a single person around. A grand piano lies in the center with classic music playing in the background. We said 'suimimasan' a few times, and an old man came out. It felt like a Haruki Murakami novel.
I ordered the Ethiopian and the Guttamela coffee, and they were both great, with a strong aroma and full-bodied taste. It was worth spending 2000 yen. Absolutely.
