The food here was delicious and the portions were huge. Most menu options are under 1000 yen. Biggest portions we’ve had anywhere in Japan. It was a very unassuming little place run two ladies. As English speaking foreigners it was a little intimidating coming into this shop because of how local this restaurant is. We were welcomed into the store by the friendly cook and she took our order right away. Once the food came out, we were shocked at the large portion sizes! Miraitei is a homey feeling small restaurant run by 2 ladies. The portions are massive and for the price it's a guaranteed bargain. It’s also probably the only place I've seen in Japan with takeaway boxes, which is a big plus considering the amount of food they serve.
