Oota — Restaurant in Izunokuni

I had an extraordinary experience at this kaiseki restaurant. Even though I don’t speak Japanese, the owner’s basic English, combined with Google Translate, made communication easy. He made sure to explain each dish and offered exceptional service, which made me feel at ease throughout the meal.

I visited alone on a weekday evening and chose the 4000 yen course with rice. Every dish was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, with the shrimp paste soup being a standout. The rice served at the end was plentiful and perfectly prepared, completing the meal on a high note.
