A lot of advertisement about the 2022 Gelato award this shop won, and as an Italian, I had high expectations. However, we were pretty disappointed. We've tried many flavors: rich milk, caramel, pistachio, cookie cream, dragon fruit and lemon. Unfortunately, they tasted rather weak, especially those more milk based, like cookie cream and rich milk, which barely had any savor. Our assumption is that the white base used, included a very skim milk or even water, which lowers the production costs. This made the gelato lose too much sweetness, fluffiness and ultimately, it felt more watery, like ice cream (not Gelato). For Italian gelato, i wouldn't recommend this shop.

TVの鹿児島ローカルで紹介されていたスイーツ屋さん。映画館に行く前に、たまたまお店のアピール看板に目がとまり、「あっ昨日のお店だー」ということで立ち寄ってみました。 お店の入口にも大々的に、第5回ジェラートマエストロコンテスト2022にて、「審査員賞」「一般投票最優秀賞」のW受賞のことがPRされていました。 せっかくなので受賞作品である知覧紅茶のフルーツティー 〜Kagoshima sunset〜 をコーンに入れてもらい食べてみました。番組で4種のフルーツ(マンゴー、パッションフルーツ、タンカンとあと一つ何か)が入っていると説明されたように記憶していましたが、その通り単純ではないフルーツの味わいがあり、甘さも控えめで大人の味わいでした。ジェラートのショーケースの中では、やはり一番減っていました。 お店に来ていたファミリーは、これ目的と言うよりもオーダーされていた「映えるケーキ」を受け取りに来ていた人の方が多かったです。 他に、ダックワーズみたいな「黒桜」、ビスケットサンドみたいなショコラシュシュ、フロマージュシュシュも買いましたが、どちらもクリームが甘さ控えめなのに、味のツボにハマっている感じで我家の好みでした。

オーダーケーキがめちゃくちゃブスくさいんですけど…インスタみてお願いしたんだけど。下の縁のクリームも崩れてるし。コンテスト用と有名人へは綺麗に作るのかなぁ？ 名前のところも Happy

Birthday ○○ ってなっててHappyとBirthdayの間のスペースはなに？凄いダサいんだけど。 このクオリティなら頼まなければよかった。出来ないなら最初から出来ないって言ってほしい。インスタとかHPに載ってる写真は作ってくれないです‼️マジで。後悔しかない。

あと立体ケーキは作れないし版権物（グッチとかのハイブラケーキもだめ）は作れないとのこと。じゃあ消せば？？？ インスタで可愛い冷凍ケーキオーダーしたほうがまじで良い‼️
